01 — How I think

I don't build features.
I solve business problems
through technology.

MD Mehedi Hasan Rakib
MD Mehedi Hasan Rakib Dhaka, Bangladesh

I started my career building websites. But I soon learned that a successful product is not just about good code—it must solve a real problem for the people and businesses using it.

Over the last 4+ years, I have grown from a frontend developer into a Product Engineer. Today, I turn ideas and business needs into complete products across web, mobile, ecommerce, and AI.

I combine business thinking, user experience, and engineering to build products that are simple, useful, and ready for real users. I have launched a public Shopify app, an Android application, an AI virtual try-on, and several production platforms. Every project begins with one question: what problem are we solving?

  • Understand the Problem
  • Design for People
  • Build for Real Use
  • Business Value
  • Own the Outcome
  • Keep Improving

Why Product
Engineering?

Because features don't move businesses forward—products do. Product engineering means owning the full journey: understanding the business problem, designing the experience, writing the code, shipping to production, and measuring what actually changed.

I chose this path because I've seen what happens when design and engineering are separated from business intent. You get beautiful products that don't solve anything, and functional code that nobody uses. Product engineering is the discipline that closes that gap.

The question is never "can we build this?"
It's always "should we, and why?"

The Azan Wholesale Platform

A complete B2B commerce ecosystem built from scratch — wholesale web platform, published Android app on Google Play, and a live app on the Shopify App Store. All sharing one product catalogue.

01Mobile commerce & dropshipping

Azan Wholesale Android

A reseller-focused Android product that brings product discovery, order creation, customer management and sales operations into one mobile workflow.

The Problem

Resellers managed orders, customers and product catalogues on desktop only—no mobile workflow meant missed sales and slower field operations.

The Solution

Built a full React Native Android app with mobile-first product discovery, order creation, customer management and a real-time sales dashboard.

Business Impact

Published on Google Play Store. Resellers now operate entirely from mobile, reducing desktop dependency and accelerating order turnaround.

02Public Shopify app

Azan Wholesale for Shopify

A dropshipping application for cosmetic merchants that connects Shopify stores to Azan Wholesale products and fulfillment operations.

The Problem

Cosmetic merchants spent hours manually importing Azan products and processing fulfilment—a workflow that couldn't scale with demand.

The Solution

Designed and shipped a public Shopify app with one-click product import, real-time inventory synchronisation and automated order fulfilment.

Business Impact

Live on the Shopify App Store. Dramatically reduces merchant fulfilment time and opens a scalable B2B acquisition channel.

04 — How I build

Process that ships.

01

Discover

Understand the business problem before touching code. Stakeholder context, user flows, technical audit—no building until the problem is clear.

02

Define

Clear spec, agreed constraints, prioritised scope. No ambiguity when build starts—only well-understood trade-offs.

03

Build

Full-stack execution—frontend, backend, mobile, integrations. Shipped in iterations, not big bangs. Every decision justified.

04

Ship

Production deployment, performance audit, monitoring in place. Launch is the start of the product, not the finish line.

05

Iterate

Post-launch analytics, feedback loops, continuous improvement. Real products evolve—so does the engineering behind them.
